I have a passion for teaching music to students of all ages and backgrounds. Before coming to AMS, I worked with students from Sam Houston State University’s School of Music for 8 years where I taught piano, music history, pedagogy, literature, and chamber music. As a private teacher of piano in Katy, I have 20 years of experience teaching piano from beginner to advanced students. Throughout the year, I am actively adjudicating competitions, presenting lectures, and performing concerts in Texas.
This is my 22nd year in Houston and I consider this city my home. I live with my wife who teaches violin and viola, three children that are in middle and elementary school, and my adorable maltipoo, Bella. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, tennis, and chess.
