About Mr. Lopez:

My name is David Lopez, and I am the principal at Alief Middle School. I have been a proud member of the Alief family for more than 19 years and principal at AMS for over 6 years. Before becoming a principal, I taught RLA at Owens Intermediate and have served as an interventionist, department Chair at Owens. I also served as an AP at Martin Elementary, Sneed Elementary and Olle Middle School.

I graduated from Sam Houston State University, where I obtained my BBA degree with a major in MIS. I also attended University of Houston Clear Lake where I obtained my Master degree in Educational Leadership. I have also been through the Superintendent Academy from Region IV.
