Last year, our awareness T-shirt theme days with jeans were well received, and I’d love to continue them for the 2026–2027 school year. I am proposing the same four days from last year, along with one additional day—International SEL Day—to highlight the importance of social-emotional learning for both students and staff.

Alief ISD will host its annual Military and First Responders Night on Thursday, September 24 at Crump Stadium. All military personnel and first responders are asked to scan the QR code by September 17 to participate.

Alief ISD ·uses PowerSchool, an easy-to-use online registration system for new student registration. Online registration is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A new student is defined as one of the following:
• New to Alief ISD, having never attended an Alief school previously
• Did not attend an Alief school on the last day of the 2025-2026 school year
• Moved into a different Alief ISD school zone. Steps to Register:
1. Complete the New Student Registration information electronically by using the
following link www.aliefisd.net/enroll and select New Student Registration BEFORE going to the campus. This process can be done on any computer or handheld device.
2. Parents must ·go to the appropriate campus during the dates and times below with the required documents to complete the registration process. You will receive the list of required documents via email when you complete the online registration.
